I'm heading to Orlando for a convention next week and staying at a DTD-area hotel (not WDW property). I'm wondering if I can use my DVC member card to get a discount on my dinner at Raglan Road if I'm not staying at a WDW hotel?

Also - my parents are joining me and I want to show them Saratoga Springs. Can I go on-property with my DVC member card to show them around if I'm not staying there? Do I just check in at the main gate?

Thanks for your help!

Copied this from the Members' Website for you:

Raglan Road™ Irish Pub and Restaurant

Bask in the hospitality of the Emerald Isle as you dine on Irish fare with a modern flair. 10% discount on lunch and dinner (excluding alcohol).

AFAIK, none of the DVC member dining discounts require the member to be staying on site to get the discount. All you should need is your blue membership card.

AFAIK, anyone can visit SSR. I'd just tell the CM at the entrance (if he/she asks), that you are visiting the DVC sales center - which will be true since you will probably want your parents to see the model rooms.

Best wishes -

I drove through a few weeks ago, I just showed them my DVC card and asked to drive through. I parked and walked throught the grounds to check it out. No problem. Nancy

Thanks very much to both of you for the info! I'm so excited to show my parents my new "home" but just wasn't sure if they'd let me through.

Thanks again!
