DVC Dining Discount as of July 1!

I'm in the world right now so i didn't have time to scan the boards to see if someone else already posted this (apologies if it has been posted)...

Certain restaurants, as of July 1, are offering a discount to DVC members. We've received 10% off at Capns Grille so far.

DVC members have received discounts at several locations for quite awhile. Make sure you find a guide a get a copy of the current issue of "Portable Perks" -- you'll find a list of the locations that participate.

Thanks for posting though as it might serve as a reminder to some of the members that forget about the dining perks.

I did know that DVC members get some discounts (unfortunately I am not a DVC member ----- yet, but we are staying on a friend's points), but our waiter at Flying Fish said that this "was something new they are doing" and the server at Captian's Grille gave us a similar memo. I have the DDE so that savings won out at Captain's Grille, but the Flying Fish discount occurred on the 4th of July, when they wouldn't take the DDE. Either these guys were new to the discount or perhaps they have expanded the availability of it. Either way, a discount is a good thing!!
