We are looking into going to Saratoga Springs next July and getting a 2 bedroom villa for my husband.. myself 3 kids and my sister and her boyfriend..
If my husband and I and 3 kids did the dining plan.. do my sister and boyfriend have to do it as well since we are all staying in the same villa?

Yes. Everyone assigned to the room must be on the plan.

Unfortunately, yes. The dining plan is attached to the number of guests in the actual room. We went in a large group last time and had a two-bedroom and three studios rented. We arranged guests per room accordingly to those who did or didn't want to be on the DDP.

You could get a 1 bedroom and have your sister get a studio. She could pay you for the extra points or she could rent points from another member. This way she doesn't have the DDP and she can charge to her room and not be on your bill. You might even be able to get a lock off.
