DVC ddp question!

Hello everyone!

I have a question, Wea re DVC members and are taking a 2week trip to VWL in Oct. For right now its Just me and db....we want to do the dining plan

However.... There is a "slight" chance at the last minute we may have 2 stowaways joining us a few days in....

I know everyone on the ressie has to have ddp but what about adding people to the ressie mid trip??? would we be able to cancel the remaining days on the ddp??? would DVC refuse to add on our guests?

If it cant be done, we cannot do the ddp as the others joining us are not interested.

Seems weird Disney would pass up any chance for pre-paid meals..anyone know the reason for everyone on the ressie needing to have ddp??

Im sure there is a good reason knowing Disney!

There has been no definitive answer to that question (which has been asked before). It's an interesting thought. You'll need to contact Disney for an answer. I strongly recommend that you get whatever answer you receive from Disney in writing (on letterhead, not email), to preclude you getting a wholly contrary answer when you actually try to do it at the resort.
