DVC DDP Discount??

I have been combing through websites and Disboard posts to find the DVC member discounted price for DDP. I swear that I saw it for 37.99 for adults and 11.99?? for kids. Can someone PLEASE give me the correct price?? Very VERY frustrating!!

The only discount for DVC members is that we pay the regular DDP price all year and are not surcharge price. Not sure if this will always be true but at least it is for 2011. The regular DDP for DVC is $45.99 per adult (not sure of children's price).

Pricing is on the member website. Click on 'Disney Dining Plan' under Vacation Planning > Vacation Planning Tools.

I believe those are old prices. Current 2011 prices are $45.99 for adults and $11.99 for children. There isn't any DVC discount.

Wow... I can't believe the price increase... Leave it to Disney to take a good idea and destroy it over the years. Took away the appetizer, took away the included tip, and make us pay more for the experience.

Ain't that the truth! And if you look at the menu prices, those have also risen like crazy, so Disney has you either way... unless you happen to be fasting!

Which begs the issue of whether it's still worth it? We've done DDP in the past because I didn't want to worry about what was being ordered. I felt like Rockefeller. Then my daughter went and ordered a flatbread pizza entre, and I screamed "Eat the Osso Bucco!". Obviously, I relented, but Disney made out like a thief on that particular sit down service. Now, I'm not sure if it's such a good idea.
