We would love to go on a Disney Cruise, and would love it even more if it were the DVC Members Cruise!
Can anyone tell me where you can find out the costs, if they are different from normal costs, future years dates, etc. Any info would be great.
Being a family of 6 we have to plan in advance with a purchase that big! I would hate to use all of our points for 2-3 years to pay for it. I would love to be able to save for the next 2 years and pay cash for it.

From what I found out (this will be our 1st cruise and we're using points)..I, too didn't want to use all those points either. You can use points, you can use points for you and DH and then cash for the others, you can use cash and then sell your points. If you use any points, I believe they don't release the point values until a year before you want to book. Not sur about that. I do know that you can book (if using points) only 11 months prior to the date you want to cruise ( that's what DVC told me when I called to inquire about it). As far as future dates..there's a link on this site that shows the 2006 dates, but I don't think the 2007 dates are out yet. As far as costs, I can't help you out there. We're doing a 3 day cruise to "check it out" and then if we like it (I'm sure we will!) In 2007, we'll use points for DH & I and pay cash for the kids or use points for one of us and oay for the rest for a 7 day cruise.
