DVC cruise - guess what came in the mail TODAY? (MONDAY)

yup - the cruise info finally came to our house today

why bother sending it at all if its gonna be after the fact?

I know from reading the boards Sat that it's full (not that we were planning on booking this one)

I received mine today as well. Imagine if that was the first time you heard about it and you wanted to go.

Looks like the problem is with your post office. We got ours a day or two after it was announced.

OK, that does it, I will NEVER complain about our mail in Ohio, we got ours in a timely fashion! I'm glad neither of you wanted to go, but there must be someone out there who is very disappointed.

Looks like this is just one more reason to make sure to use dvcmember.com a lot. Seems like the information there has been pretty good and more timely than waiting for the mail (in most cases), though the site seems tempermental sometimes. I seem to forget about going to the site on a regular basis.

Must be a central Ma issue...got mine yesterday too!!! Just stood there laughing. Good thing I didn't want to go. Well, I wanted to go but can't this time!!! But I'm glad I wasn't waiting for notification from Disney!!!!

I would be really upset if I received a notification after the fact if it was something I really would have liked to have done. I know I read about the cruise here and at dvcmember.com for weeks before we received ours in the mail (at which point I thought it was way after the fact already).

I don't know where the problem is but it does seem like it might be more related to the post office than DVC especially if it's most just one area who just received it.

Maybe someone in the post office really wanted to get on the cruise and held back on the delivery.
