DVC Credit Checks...Etc..

Hi!

We have just signed our paperwork and will be sending it back tomorrow...I was just curious if anyone has had any experience with DVC denying someone credit.....Is anyone aware of the criteria that they use to approve credit.. I know they check your credit report...

I think I have heard that the financing that is offerred is offered directly through DVC and not another bank...

Any experiences will be helpful..

It is directly through Disney. I have heard of them calling and demanding a larger downpayment. I have never heard of an outright denial.....hey, even my father got accepted.

They will either ask for a larger down payment or they will want to "shorten their risk". Meaning they may turn down a 10 year loan and approve a 7 year loan. Or they may turn down a 7 year loan and approve a 5 year loan.

And if you are buying at Vero Beach, you have nothing to worry about.
