DVC Commercial Question - 2 Beds?

I was watching the DVC paid commercial that they are running on tv and noticed in the beginning that when they are showing the DVC rooms in AKV that there are two beds. IE, not a bed and a sofa bed. Is that right?

We've only ever stayed in a studio and a 1BR in AKV and there was never two beds. If you book a 2 BR is there 2 beds in the other room? I'd much rather have two beds rather than a bed and a sleeper sofa.

A dedicated 2-bedroom villa will have 2 queen beds in the second bedroom.

A lock-off 2-bedroom villa will be made up of a 1-bedroom and a studio.

If you really want to stay in a studio with 2 beds, all OKW studios have 2 queen beds. All other resorts feature the bed & sofa sleeper in studios.

Yes, we've stayed at OKW in a studio before. I was just surprised in the DVC commercial to see the two beds at AKV.

Dedicated 2 bedrooms will have two queens in the second bedroom as far as most DVC resorts are concerned. Within AKV, they are only available at Kidani. Jambo only has lock-off 2 bedrooms.

Some resorts have no dedicated 2 bedrooms, for example, the Boardwalk villas have no dedicated 2 bedroom units, so you can at least eliminate a few resorts. I don't believe the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge have any either.

We stayed in a dedicated 2BR on our first trip to VWL. Very nice! In addition to the queen beds, you also get extra room because they don't have to fit in a mini kitchen.

VWL has dedicated 2 bedrooms.

Not all of the dedicated 2 bedrooms at BCV have the 2 queens, some have 1 queen and a sofabed. You have to specfically reserve a dedicated w/2 queen there.

OP...the dedicated 2 bedroom at Kidani is awesome! It's so spacious. If you have kids it's the way to go!

As a pp stated OKW is the only one that has 2 beds in all of them. Lock off or not.
