I just checked a few others. Primo Piatto, Roaring Fork, Artist's Pallete, Geyser Point, all stay open until 11. Even the BC Marketplace says it stays open until 11. I wonder if @HyperspaceMountainPilot's comment is specific to the BC Marketplace because I know the setup there is the giftshop/QS hybrid sort of space that, as I recall, doesn't have any seating or tables (like a full QS such as Primo Piatto or Roaring Fork). I wonder if they tend to shut the kitchens down well before the official 11 pm closing time.

The answer in my family is always the Boardwalk Pizza Window. Open until midnight.

I'm intrigued by Lakeshore Lodge and will be curious to see how it all looks, especially the 1-bedroom lake houses. But still not sure if we'd ever choose to stay there over Wilderness Lodge.

Flippers is a decent local chain that will deliver to the resorts; someone needs to meet them in the lobby to accept the order. The location at Rolling Oaks generally is considered the closest unless you are at the MK resorts, in which case the new location on Glass House Lane is probably closer. (There used to be a location at Crossroads shopping center, but of course that whole complex is now gone.)

We stayed at a CCV Cabin last summer for a week and I think we're spoiled! I'll give Lakeshore Lodge a try, but I think nothing will beat the cabins or the refurbished BRV rooms for when we don't need quick access to the parks. WL is just so beautiful imo

Yep. But if we ever stayed there, it would replace a BRV stay for that year, basically. Doubt we'd have enough for a lake house, even with banking/borrowing though.

My thoughts exactly. As interested as I am in checking it out, I don't think anything could be as awesome as the CCV cabins. I'm considering buying cheap SAP points to use for the cabins on the regular.

How many SAP do you think you'd end up wanting for that? I'd love to do that someday but the idea of a lot of annual dues discourages me from thinking about it. Though, like I said before, we are hoping to stay in the cabins for a week for our 25th anniversary (in 5 years.) I feel like after that stay, it will be so tempting! Maybe we will will the lottery before then.

I’ll add one other thing…hours the food options are open. BCV is far and away our favorite option at WDW, but we have stopped staying there most arrival nights because not being able to find food or beverage after 10pm is awful. I’m not sure if WDW has always been this way or I just notice it post COVID traveling with kids—but how is it possible these hotels sell rooms over $700/night and there’s literally nowhere to get any kind of prepared food or beverage after 10/10:30/11?

I'm trying to think if there are any deluxe resorts on property that would offer food at that hour? Maybe a monorail resort since MK is open later?

Disney vacations tend to be not lined up with the need for night owls... though I think DCL does 24 hour room service at least...

These were definitely COVID-era cuts that never came back. Contempo Cafe used to be open until 12am daily and served the full menu, while Gasparilla and Captain Cook’s were open 24/7 and transitioned to late night dining after midnight.

YC/BC has always been more limited in comparison, with nothing open past 11:30pm. Yacht Club didn’t even have a quick service option until Fittings & Fairings was refurbished into Ale & Compass and the Market at Ale & Compass in 2017.

As of now, the latest quick service restaurant options I’m aware of are still Gasparilla and Captain Cook’s, with full menus until 11pm and a late night offering from 11pm to 12am that’s mostly grab and go items, along with soda and coffee.

I'll need at least 200 and I'll combine with what I already have. The annual dues is the reason why I'm going to take a very long time to decide. I can picture dealing with dues for a few years, but since they are always going to increase, I don't think it's the smartest path.

This is where the SSR "sale" becomes intriguing. Could be used as direct points with low dues used on large accommodations even including LL A-frame cabins

Agreed!! Beaches and Cream used to be more like that but it’s become so popular that walk ups for a table can’t happen.

I wish Beaches and Cream prioritized Beach Club guests. It’s hard to get a table there!

Honestly, I wish there was a slightly earlier window for reservations at every resort if you are staying on site at that resort.

Might help a bit with the congestion with the parking situation at the resorts or with the congestion on the WDW transport as well as a nice little side effect

Yeah...once in a blue moon, we'll purchase a couple powerball tickets. But very, very rarely. So I think I'd be better off hoping for my husband to get a MASSIVE pay raise. Or me to find a good job someday for some extra income (currently staying home due to all of my son's needs.)

I'm thinking it would/should be a split stay for us. I know that doesn't work for everyone, though.

My original plan was to stay at every DVC resort. That is still a solid plan, but the cabin was so good that it's by far my favorite Disney vacation spot. Since I haven't stayed in most resorts, that could change. Maybe I should focus on the original plan and just add a night in a cabin.

TBH, we had a rental car during our stay and that may have made it better because we didn't have to take a bus anywhere. We took the boat to MK and drove to Epcot and HS. Having a rental car adds $ and makes the cabin even more expensive. I think I just talked myself into only staying there for resort days and MK days...
