DVC beach bag - where do I get one?

On my DCL Magic cruise, I noticed quite a few people toting DVC beach bags - a cream-colored bag with royal blue bottom & straps with the DVC logo. During that cruise, I joined DVC, and I want one of those bags, too! Where can I get one?

I believe you can pick these up at any of the DVC resorts (and probably call one of them and have it sent to you).

The Member web site advertises them as well.

Just a meager $40.

If you bought direct from DVC, I would say to contact your guide. They used to give these to new members when they first joined (if they bought direct), I'm not sure if they are still sending the same thing. I got mine about a month after closing in 1999. I haven't seen that exact one on sale in the shops, they have a different one.

We joined on our cruise also, 1/19 Magic. When we got our package from DVC we received the backpack.

We joined recently at BCV, I was really looking forward to getting the beach/tote bag but we got a backpack instead.

Funny I would be intrested in the back pack but that could be cause I have a number of the totes. We have three contract and two add ons so I have quite a few. I know people trade pins would you want to trade bags?

Just wanted to add that I am serious If intrested PM me but I also need to tell you I will be go all thei week on the 7 day Magic I leave in 3 hrs just trying to kill time by visiting the boards

Unfortunately, my husband likes the backpack, I'll check with him, but I don't think I can get it away from him. Thanks for the offer though, I'll let you know for sure when I ask him. I purchased 600 points at BCV in four contracts of 150 each. I was wondering if you got something with add-ons. I should have just did my initial contract one one day with 150 points and then added on each day after that then I would have 4 back packs. Okay, I guess that would be kind of greedy wouldn't it????

We got one of the cream bags with blue handles when we joined in Spring of 2001. By the time my MIL joined in August, they had switched the promotion and they told her they no longer give out the same bags (it was now a cream bag with cream handles and a zipper.)
She was very disappointed.
I was able to get one for her off of ebay. It's sitting here now, all wrapped up for her birthday later this month. I got it for about $16 plus shipping and it looks brand spankin' new.
