DVC AP renewal online problems!

I have tried to renew my AP through DVC site, as well as WDW Passholder site, and it won't work! I live on a computer, but have never been able to get this feature to work properly. I have seen posts on here before, but I am home sick today and don't have the strength to go reading through old posts, nor calling Member Services. On Passholder site it never pops up with DVC renewal despite me putting in my AP info, and on Member site, it doesn't seem to allow for renewals, just new passes.

Can anyone help?

I had the same problem this week. I called member service and renewed our annual passes over the phone. I was told they could mail vouchers to me or do a will call. With the will call, DVC member service calls you a few days later with a will call number. You take the will call number, your DVC member ID and a photo ID to any quest services window at the parks or Downtown Disney to surrender your old passes and get the new ones. Since we are going to WDW 4/8/06 I took the will call option.

Yeah, thanks, I already knew about all of that - being home sick today I was hoping to do it online without having to call MS. Not sure why they have the online option if no one can use it.

You also know that you can renew within 30 days after your current AP expires, assumig you'll be visiting WDW during that time period. If you aren't going to be visiting WDW within 30 days of your current expiration there is little advantage to a DVC renewal, The discounted renewal vs a new DVC AP is about $20 less.
 

Thanks, I know that as well, but we figure the discount is worth it for us.

The Disney ticket website is quite "quirky" and as pain to use, IMHO. I will not trust it ever again after my experience last summer. I eventually had to call MS and order my discounted AP through them.

I got very tired of calling ticket services (and waiting what seemed like forever to get a CM) to see if my order went through once, twice, 3 times or not at all! Every time, the answer was "not at all" which was better than twice or 3 times, but still very frustrating!
