Purchased DVC resale back in Jan. Had the deed placed in my and DH's names. I incorrectly believed that I could get the DVC discount for my adult children who always travel with us. I now know that they must live in the same household with us. So I have 2 questions:
1. Would there be anyway I could get an AP for my grandson who is 3 and would have no proof of where he lives?
2. Can I go back and have my children's names placed on the deed so they could get their own APs?

Not unless you are willing to lie.

Yes, but it will cost some money to do so. Adding them to the deed will also make the contract part of their assets as well as yours. Could be a problem in the event of a divorce or bankruptcy.

This would also give your children full access to do whatever they want with the points (book, cancel, etc...)

And I know we have read the "horror story" where adult child married girl or boy X and five years later when girl or boy x left they wanted "ownership" of this "asset" ... (Sometimes just to spite adult child and his/her family)
