DVC Annual Ticket Price Increase

Earlier than the usual August price increase, thanks for the update.

Oh, my!! I need to buy mine tomorrow!!! I was planning on getting them when we arrived in 31 days

I've never done this before, but if I buy AP vouchers, can I "cash them in" any time? Do they expire?

Thanks, guys! :goodvibes

I held an AP voucher for 3 years once.

Add me to the list to try to renew my DH's AP. The AP website said I could renew 60 days prior, but other Disney websites say 30 days prior. His AP expires on July 31, so about 45 days. Since the online renewal isn't working (surprise) I'll have to call and see if they let me do it. I did print the info from the passholder website saying 60 days prior to expiration. A lot of work just to save $20.

I just called and bought mine. As I am going just a few days after the increase they can't get paper to me in time but they gave me a number. It makes me uncomfortable not having something in hand after a bad experience with not getting to go to the christmas party because they couldn't find our tickets at will call. Crossing my fingers theres no problem.

Did you buy by credit card? If so, can you get a copy of the charge from your bank's website? I have done that as backup but have never needed it. You will need to show your DVC Blue Card or at least have your member #.

Yes I used a card. I will try and get a copy. I wish Disney would just e-mail it to me. If you can tell I'm one of those people that does everthing possible to prevent problems. They drive me crazy

It looks like the Sunday price of DVC APs will be $446.24 and $411.09 including tax. Does anyone know what the price is right now including tax? TIA:goodvibes

What's a DVC member Tourist Charter? Or a DVC Member Resident Charter? :confused3

What's a DVC member Tourist Charter? Or a DVC Member Resident Charter? :confused3

From Cheshire Figment on the theme parks board:

The Charter AP was first issued in the early 1980's. To maintain Charter status, a person has to renew their AP every year. If they skip, they lose Charter status.

If a Charter Passholder marries (or official Civil Union) within one year they can go to Disney with the proof and buy a Charter AP for the spouse, who then will also have Charter status.

If a Charter Passholder has a child, they may purchase a Charter AP for that child prior to the child reaching the 4th birthday. A birth certificate showing the date of birth and that a Charter Passholder is a parent is required. And the child then has Charter status.

How long is the AP voucher good for once you order it?

No expiration

West Coast newbie here, trying to save a few bucks.

Can I call DVC tomorrow and purchase my discounted AP (as a voucher), and hold on to it for as long as I want, and my 1 year commencement date on the pass won't start until I "Cash" it in when I visit one of the parks....

Can't go until December:sad2:
