I just renewed our DVC Annual passes (for just my husband and I) and had planned to let our childrens' passes expire and purchase new on our next trip with kids in October. I wanted to confirm with member services that our passes would still expire on the original anniversary date but member services told me they would not and instead would have the anniversary date of when they are first used. HUH? I repeated....so my original pass expired 4/13/15 and I just renewed them now 5/1/15......won't be using them until 7/27/15, so I'll have a new expiration date of 7/27/16 and was told 'YES'. That's not how I understood this process worked and is why we waited until we had enough trips to decide if the renewal made more sense or if we let them expire and buy them again new. Did I have this wrong, or did I just get an incorrect member service answer maybe? Can anyone confirm? TIA
