DVC annual pass renewal - longer than 12 months?

I seem to recall a renewal of an AP at one point lasted 15 months or so rather than 12 months. Is this still true?

No, that was a one time deal - and it wasn't just DVC, it was all AP holders. But they never did it again since a few years ago.

Disney did that back in '09 when the economy was down.

It only applied to renewals purchased by August 31, 2010. All renewals after that date are for the normal 12 months.

I remember we renewed for the 15th month it was great to have the extention. I can't believe you remember the actual date. hahah

We just renewed our FL Resident APs and the renewal was for only 12 months.

Universal Orlando is running a FL Resident special for 3 months free on any 2-park annual pass.
