I wonder if they will show that one again - I did catch the WDW Holiday Show on that channel at 9 last night.

I wonder, is this a rerun? I have seen her do VWL and hmmmm, not sure which other I saw. Which DVC did she visit?

We just love Samantha Brown. She is a hoot and a half

This is new - it's a holiday special. She taped it within the last month. I watched it last Sunday and it's a great show! She does show the lobbies at Beach Club and Boardwalk. She also includes GF & AKL. She covers Holidays Around the World at Epcot and MVMCP at MK. She goes behind the scenes to show how the decorations are created. It ends with the ending of Wishes, which I really loved.

According to the Travel Channel website, it's going to be repeated on Tuesday & Thursday nights.

Oh, it's the holiday one. We saw it, it was good. The only thing we were dissapointed with was that she did not visit WL.

What is more Christmas than WL???

Saw the Christmas one last night, and loved it. Who is she, by the way? Is there a different one on DVC? We just got the Dish net and finding all these great new channels.
And, we are leaving Christmas day and will get to see all the things we saw on TV. Cool!

Samantha Brown is one of our favorite people on any TV show ever. She hosts the "Great Hotels" and some "Great Vacation Homes" on the travel channel.

Anyway, she has visited VWL (while visiting WL) and I seem to remember she visited BWV (don't quote me on that).

If you ever get the chance to watch the show where she visits the Hershey Hotel in Hershey PA, by all means watch it. It is hilarious the way she kind of goes crazy about all of the chocolate. Her sense of humor is unique, to say the least .

Someone mentioned within the past couple of weeks that they were at the Beach Club when she was taping the show in their lobby.

I saw it this morning and it was great. Really enjoyed it. My 7-year old DD sat and watched the whole thing and wanted to go.

The last ten minutes or so shows a lot of the Holiday parade at Magic Kingdom. I hope someday they have her do a piece just visting the DVC properties.

Chip1 posted the thread about the taping while they were staying at BCV. I thought I saw WL in the opening credits.

It was a great show! I really liked all the christmas activities and will plan to attend during the holiday season. The parade footage was extensive and Wishes looks amazing.


We will definitely watch it again as DS's missed it!

Psssst - Crazywig, I'm with you. LOVED the show, even cried I missed WDW so much but couldn't stand her. I even like the overly perky girl from the in-room Disney Channel much better. Maybe SB is an acquired taste.

I know I'm going to catch flak on this one; That womans voice and sugary sweet comments make me ill. I love to watch those travel channel hotel shows, but I have to mute the tv and use the closed captioning so I don't have to listen to her. I apologize in advance to all the Samantha fans out there, but it's the way I feel. As a matter of fact, if you go to her web site, she even says she doesn't like the way her voice sounds.

I really enjoy Samantha Brown, and it's her quirky sense of humor that I enjoy the best. I feel she is being "tongue in cheek" a lot of the times. Her show is on my top 10 list of fun things to watch. Can't wait to see her Disney for the Holidays. Thanks for the tip.

I just returned from WDW. I took the yuletide fantasy tour while there! It was wonderful. I taped the show on travel channel because it covered alot of what I saw on the tour, including the warehouse. Did you know only 20 people are in charge of ALL the Christmas decorations for ALL disney properties, including DCl and even the airport! They hire an extra 12 people to put up and take down the decorations. Sue

My dd and I just got back from WDW last week. We really liked it during the holidays. So, we asked my dh when he really wanted to book our first trip home to BWV. He said "Let's do it during this coming summer. I'd rather be able to use the water parks and not worry about snow storms making it impossible to fly." So, I call MS and book BWV for this August. Well......we watch the holiday special with Samantha and what does dh say? Yep. "Hmmm, maybe we should go at Christmas time after all. Looks pretty nice right now!" I could have killed him! What...he didn't believe me when I told him what it was like? Men!!!!!
