My wife and I finally created a revocable (living) trust. Our attorney noted that we must switch-out the names on all assets (bank accts, brokerage accts, cars, etc.) to that of the trust, including our deed in DVC. Has anyone ever done this with their DVC interest? If so, I'd appreciate any guidance on what steps must be taken to move the deed into our trust. (Can I do it through DVC or must I go through Orang County offices?)

Hello there, I inquired about placing my DVC interest in my name, and was advised by DVC to have my own lawyer handle the change.

Hope this helps

Hi, when we placed our DVC points into our "living trust" our attorney did ALL of the paperwork. We just took our deed along with any other deeds for the real estate that we own and he did the work.....that's what your paying them for IMHO.

Guess I'll get my attorney to do the same. Appreciate the advice!!
