DVC and park tickets

We have considered purchasing a resale DVC contract for the past year and have a few questions. Our main reason for this is we want to go to Florida every year and have a family of 5. We will no longer fit in the value resorts, so we either need to start staying off site or buy DVC resale where studios sleep 5 to make it economically feasible to continue this family tradition.

My question deals with the park tickets and dining reservations. In the past, we have purchased two park days in a hotel package and had the ability to move around dates as needed. The tickets also seemed to be discounted compared to buying separately.

Will we still be able to add park tickets to our reservation and get package deals and/or flexibility of using them during the park week? I know with days sold out, flexibility isn’t a huge advantage, but I’m curious anyways.
Additionally, for dining reservations can we still book 60 days out with everyone else? Is it all on the MyDisneyExperience app?

Thank you for your information and help!

Sorry, no, a DVC reservation is like a room-only reservation, no tickets. You buy tickets separately from Disney or any of the authorized resellers, who usually offer discounts.

But the 60+length of stay ADR window does apply.

DVC stays do not qualify for any other discounts or packages. You would have to purchase park tickets separately.

Booking dining can still be done on the MDE app, and you do get the 60+10 (or length of stay whichever is shorter) benefit.

If you don't mind split stays, you can still purchase those hotel/ticket packages. Also look into corporate/company discounts for tickets. A lot of people have no idea their company offers them. Usually it's a 3rd party that manages the discount program, site like Working Advantage - Employee Discount Program. You may not even have to be the actual employee to use the park tickets, but whoever purchase them needs to be current employee with a valid log-in. Definitely worth checking.
