DVC and Magical Express Question and others

Asking for someone else,does DVC members get their Magical Express tags,etc from the Vacation Club or do they need to contact Magical Express theirselves? Also since they are new at this,do they get a discount on stroller rentals or hopper tickets?Thanks for any help.

Members (currently) only get a savings on Annual Passes, not MYW tickets.

All Disney Resort Reservations (which includes DVC Reservations) are eligible for DME. Members must add DME through DVC (by phone or web form on member website).

You dont have to go through DVC to arrange DME. I recommend not, actually. DVC seems to be rather thick headed when arranging DME.

Just an FYI, Disney policy is that all DME booking from DVC be handled through DVC. There is even a notice to that affect when you call DME.

My guess is that it's an accounting issue and that DVC pays for DME somehow.

WE book DME online via the DVC website.

Your luggage tags will be mailed to you prior to your departure for your trip. We received ours about a couple weeks before we left.

Make sure you tell them, That you want two luggage tags each if you are planning on multiple bags, as the extras are sent out separately, and if you wait till you get your packet and notice you do not have enough, you could be cutting it close to get the extras sent.

The one time I have tried to book it through DVC ("through" the website) they messed it up. They are useless if anything is at all complicated.

I understand and I don't blame you, I verify every action that MS makes including DME. I was relaying Disney's policy on DVC DME bookings.

Once made by DVC, DME reservations and extra tags can be ordered by calling DME directly at: (866) 599-0951.

We just received our luggage tags and we received one tag for each person on our reservation.

I fly SWA and get 2 free bags. I always ask for 2 tags.
