DVC and cruise question

I can't find the information for how many DVC points it costs for a 4 night cruise. Plus, is it per person, per stateroom, etc?

My parents are interested in becoming DVC owners. They've already booked a cruise. Would the points be available for them to use quickly? and can they apply the points to an already booked cruise?

You get the points system under the www.Disneyvacationclub.com under members service. You have to log in. If you are not DVC member, PM me, and i will send you info on the points for 4 night cruise points.

yes, the points are per person, the points varies on time of cruise as well as type of stateroom.
If you already booked a cruise, and you want to use the points for it, what they will do is cancel your existing res. and book a new one right away. Now that doens't mean you will get the exact same stateroom # but you may be able to if there are no waitlist for that particular staeroom. I would ask the DVC to check to see if there is another room of the same type before you cancel the existing res.
