DVC and Annual Pass - Something coming 1/1/14 ?

Did anyone hear a rumor that something special is coming for DVC members when it comes to Annual Passes this coming January 2014 ?

Nope I haven't heard anything, what makes you think that something is going to be announced in January?

My cousin was making a DVC Ressie and was talking to her tour guide when the subject came up about buying her annual passes.. she seemed to think maybe a larger discount or possibly a meal plan incentive ?

That sounds good neighbor I for one am hoping they do something again! With the timing of purchase window/activating timeline of the last offer, we were not able to take advantage of it.

Since 1/1/15 is still over a year away, anything could happen by then, but as far as anything happening soon, the only indication was a statement made at the annual meeting that there would be some new benefits/discounts coming in 2014 but that was made in relation to DVC in general and not in relation to anything specific like passes, and management provided no other info at the meeting including when in 2014 anything would occur.

Personally, I would be thrilled if they offered an annual DVC resort refillable mug. We have well over a dozen of the poolside Mickey and friends mugs, in various colors, and we neither have the room nor interest in accumulating more.

We got in twice on the last deal - a PAP for $399! We're good til Sept. '14. Didn't hear anything when we were down there 2 weeks ago, but will ask around when we go again Jan. 28th. We're just North of you guys in Kingston!
