We are planning our trip for October and have most of our meals planned. It seems to me that they told me once that DVC members can make their ADRS 190 days out. Is this right? We want to book a Fantasmic Dinner package and thought the extra 10 days could be important. Thanks.

The policy is actually 180+10, not 190 days.

For instance, if your resort stay is June 1 to 15, you could call 180 days from June 1 and book ADRs for June 1 to 10. There are some dining venues and packages, however, that do not book that far out.

From the DVC website:

Now, bookings for all Walt Disney World restaurants that offer dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, with the exceptions noted below. Refer to the schedule below prior to calling 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463) to make your reservations.

Sorry, but it appears the magic number is 180. :sad1:

Chuck is right, and it appears the info posted is several years out of date (or from an old cached web page if was located with a search engine). Anybody can book at 180 days, regardless of where they are staying.

The ADR booking dates have nothing to do with DVC. Any guest at any onsite DISNEY resort can call 180 days from arrival and book up to ten days from arrival. It's called 180+10, and it was instituted a couple of years ago as an incentive for people to stay onsite.

You should know, however, that not all of the restaurant availabilty is there during that +10 period -- only a portion is. So if you call and don't get what you want during that +10 timeframe, call back at exactly 180 days and you'll probably get it.

If was posted from DVCMember.com and the page was refreshed prior to copying.

You are right though. Booking 180 is not a DVC perk or member benefit. It is for anyone staying onsite at Disney.

Actually, you can book at 180 days if you are staying onsite of not. The 180+10 is the onsite perk. It is not surprising that the DVC website is incorrect.
