DVC accepted forms of payment

When buying direct from Disney, do they accept credit cards (I assume the answer is yes), and which cards do they accept, Visa, Am. Express, M.C., etc.?

By the way, if we do use a cc to add on, we will pay it off immediately thus no finance charges will occur.

Discover is also accepted, which was 1.5% cashback
Multiple cards can be used.
The entire purchase can be charged.

We pay with credit card every time....and yes, pay off in full. We use our credit cards responsibly and the reward - FREE AIRLINE TICKETS!!!!
That makes it less painful financially to take our 5 kids every year to DW!

We have used Visa and MC, and as said before, have used multiple cards on 1 transaction.

AE charges almost twice as much to the vendor! That is why we don't accept it at our business.

I have my monthly payments done through my checking account but can I change it go on my Visa (which is a debit Visa hooked up to my checking account) so that I can earn my Disney Reward Dollars (I have Chase)? This way I would also be earning my dollars to use on vacation.

So it doesn't sound like you can use an AE card to pay your dues.

We used our AE card for our down payment of our add-on and this was at the end of May so I would imagine you could use it for your entire purchase.

Just as an FYI for anyone for our original purchase we used the Disney Visa for the 1st $5000 which is 0% interest for 6 months and gave me Disney rewards! I paid off the remainder using my debit card (ran as credit, without a pin) and earned points on that card.

As I understand it, you can't have your monthly payments linked to a card - it has to be thru a checking (or probably savings account) using the routing and account number. You can make extra payments toward your principle using a card, however.

Yes, I believe they accept the 4 major cards.

Disney generally takes every form of payment known to man. You could probably pay with livestock if you wanted to, but you'd have to watch the exchange rate carefully.

I paid online. I just rechecked my Am. Express Jan 2010 statement just in case I was having a lapse in memory and charges do show for DVC dues. Not sure why the MS website would say they accept MC and Visa only.

My guess is that while they do accept AMEX, they don't encourage it. I believe the servicing fees for AMEX are more than Visa & MC.

As I noted above the VISa or MasterCard logo is referring to the type of debit card you can use. Credit cards are all the major ones. I've used Discover, AMX and MC.
