DVC 7th Year Christmas Tree Sharing a Little Holiday Magic.

Hi wdwstar! This is my first post. My family would love to particpate in the tree swap. We will be at AKV from 12/17-12/23. It looks like there may still be space available on those dates...Thank you for your help.

I don't mind a bit if you do that, Disney Fix! In fact, I think it's a neat idea! I think of this tree as our (as in, our collective group) "DVC family" tree and hope this is the first year of what becomes a new tradition. It gives me warm fuzzies to think of the families, yours included, who will be sharing the holidays with us.

Disneynutz Thank you for making calls to the DVC Resorts, that was very kind of you to take the time and find out more info.

At this time I will ask everyone that is on the Tree List to pm me with their name and conf. their dates & resort. I will then put everything together and PM the families that are donating a Tree their Tree lists of families.

i think we will keep moving forward with the sharing of the Christmas trees,
until we hear more feedback.

Thank you for the suggestion about Owners Locker, they are very wonderful people and very reliable. I suggest to everyone if you are interested and dont know if you should try a Owners Locker, Try It! you wont be disappointed !

I just got back from WDW and was part of a fridge swap. I read about the problem with the strollers and asked if there was a new policy about storing items for another guest. Noone at the resort knew anything about new restrictions. When I called to have the fridge picked up, I had my fingers crossed. There was no problem whatsoever with the pick up. I contacted the next person and she got the fridge with no problem. I dont know what will happen in the future, but it worked out for me. I certainly did not want to be the one who "lost" someone else's fridge!

If you are on wisbucky s tree list please pm her..... she was very kind to donate 3 trees and she needs to get the trees ready to ship. she have a few things going on and she wanted to make sure she was able to ship the trees down in time.

I updated the tree list. I bold your disnames showing who has conf their dates, resorts and their first and last name for the tree box.

I am still taking names if your dates and resorts are available please pm me or post to the thread.

any info on bell service or the delivery dept. about charging extra or not holding boxs more then 24 hours please post.

Thank you wdwstar. I see my name on the AKV tree #1 list. The tree will be a great surprise for my girls. From what I have read in this thread, I believe I am supposed to pick up and return the tree at Jambo Bell Services and make a contribution to the return shipping envelope (gladly!). Sorry I cannot PM you yet.

We have just found out that Kidani and Jambo have separate Bell Services.

Rather than ship all of the trees to Jambo wdwstar is looking at making a list for Kidani and another for Jambo. I will be PMing the AKV people to find out which resort they are staying at.
