DVC 6th year Christmas Tree, Sharing a Little DVC Holiday Magic

I checked in at 1:00 and my studio was ready! Took VWL Tree #1 back to my room, opened the box and all I kept saying was OMG this family thought of everything. Magicalmcwho (Elf Jim) - you were right - I didn't need the balcony lights at all and not because I'm on the first floor. I used the lights and garland to decorate around the door to the lockoff and around the mirror over the table. Loving the ambiance of all the decorations and it is the perfect Wilderness Lodge Tree. :santa:
Thanks:hug:
Charmaine

AKV Tree #3 arrived today. It should be waiting for us when we get there Sunday. :goodvibes

Thank You WDW Star for putting this program together. And....Thank You canwegosoon and bobbiwoz for your wonderful tree. We have it set up in our villa and put the lights out on our balcony. Everyone has been talking about our lights!

The tree is beautiful and the "gifts" were a "welcome home" surprise!
We added notes to the book and put a couple ornaments from our hometowns in the box.

Have a wonderful holiday and thank you for all your thoughtfulness.

We are staying in AKV concierge Dec 2-6 and are planning on bringing a small xmas tree. If anyone is coming in after we check out we be glad to pass to tree on to them.

I'm sad. My tree....has been on a journey. It has been traveling around the south for the past TEN days!!:scared1: It has been from my house to Nashville, back to my city, to Orlando....to Knoxville, back to Nashville....

I'm counting to ONE HUNDRED thousand....very slowly. It seems, it was put on the wrong truck at LEAST TWICE!!

I am so sorry for the first family on my list. UPS is running a skeleton crew for the holiday...to make matters even worse. Murphy's Law always applies to my family but, I "thought" ten days would be enough time for an "on time" arrival. I was quoted THREE DAYS.

YIKES...it is the thought that counts and I'm sure it will arrive soon!

Hi, everyone. Just wanted to let our group know that BCV Tree #2 is here and up and decorated. This is so fun! I will try to get my husband to post a picture of it so you can get an idea of what to expect. Thanks to wdwstar for all of the work and time you spent organizing this!

Hi Charmaine,

I am glad to hear you had no trouble getting the tree. Thanks for making me laugh and I know you and your family will enjoy the tree. Our favorite is the wreath and coming home to our room. Have a great trip.

Elf Jim. :santa:

SSR Tree #4 is here and we love it! It got a little banged around during shipping but nothing a little fluffing couldn't handle.

We have the Mickey wreath up on our sliding glass door - the golfers get to see it too when they hit their ball over too far in the rough. ;)

DS18months has been very sick so we have spent the past 2 days in the room. I am so grateful for the holiday cheer to liven up the room.

OKW Tree #1 is up and looking pretty :goodvibes I'll try to post pics later when the balcony lights show up better :santa:

Hi, we will be at the villas at the wilderness lodge 12/28-1/2/09, are there any trees we can borrow? thanks much!!!!!

:grouphug: Awww, I hope he feels better soon!! It sucks being sick at Disney...I know!! Glad you are enjoying it and hopefully your vacation gets better soon!!:upsidedow

:) :confused3 Staff looked for our tree all day yesterday and couldn't locate it. Fed Ex delivered it Friday and it was signed for, so we know it's here. Hopefully they will be able to find it today, so we'll have a couple of days to enjoy it. Hopefully they will be able to find it quicker for the next family.

Here's BCV Tree #2...

We have the swag lights hanging on the balcony and the pink lights are swagged around the kitchen. I'll try to get pics of those tonight, if I don't collapse from exhaustion when we get back to the room

FYI-- Laura, the bottom row of the swag lights is completely out and several bulbs scattered thru the rest are out. They still look pretty though :santa:

Hi all.....

We just walked in the door from 10 days at OKW.

When we arrived on 11/22, they could not find the tree box. I knew it was there and I knew exactly what it looked like. The box was in the bellman's area. The CM's were looking out back and not in the bellman's luggage area. It took an extra day, but we got the tree.

We need to pick up and drop off the trees at bell service. You will NOT have a message on your ressie letting the front desk know that you have a package. You just have to go to bell service and tell them you are picking up a christmas tree box , (example only ) BCV Tree #1. Please remember what tree # list you are on.

this tree sharing will work only if we follow a few simple steps.

Oh, very exciting! That will look awesome in my AKV room!! :lmao:

 How funny! I didn't think about that! We kinda stuck with the beach theme. We thought that the blue star thingy looked like a star/sea anemone, so we went with it :) I really hope you guys enjoy it.
