DVA Down for Maintenence 8/24

I just got this email:

We will be performing scheduled maintenance to enhance our ability to serve you and wanted to make you aware that starting at 10 pm (EST) August 24, the Disney Vacation Account website will be unavailable for an estimated 48 hours.

If you have any questions or would like to access your account number or account balance while the website is unavailable, please call us at 407-939-7734 (10 am - 11 pm EST, 7 days a week) and we would be happy to help you.

When you call, you will need to verify your identity and provide the number below: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Please note that depending on the length of time the website is unavailable, it is possible that automatic contributions scheduled during that period of time may not be processed or added in to your account. However, you can choose to make a one-time contribution when disneyvacationaccount.com is available.

I hope that they don't screw it up and take it down for over a week again, but what kind of update/maintenance takes a website offline for two days? ​

I got the email too. Ugh, makes me nervous. I'm purchasing my tickets September 9th- I better get my account information now, just in case.

Disney also used the word 'enhance' when they replaced Splash Mountain with Tiki Birds during PM EMH.

They are early by 36 hours. The site was down yesterday morning.

Don't bother calling the number, they have no way to help you. At least the CM and supervisor I spoke to was unhelpful.
