Other than PBTeen, can anyone suggest where I can purchase a TWIN duvet cover for my daughter?

I am looking for something "preppy" or in the pastel family. Something "girly".

I have seen a few online but they are very expensive (several hundred $$).

Kohls, Macy's or JC Penney seems to have more modern, earth tone selections.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks!! :)

That's where I bought my 15yo DD and my 12yo DS. They're GREAT!!!! They didn't like anything else when were re-doing their rooms....

Do you know anyone who sews? A duvet cover should be fairly simple.

I wanted a wave phone holder for our upcoming Disney cruise - on etsy, they were $20.

A friend made one with specific designs she knew my daughter would like, and charged me $5.00.

Good luck!

I sometimes see them at TJMaxx and Marshalls. They always mix them in with the sheets.

Go to Overstock.com, and type in Tommy Hilfiger duvet. You should pull up a bunch!! That's where I've gotten a couple of them over the years.

Garnet Hill Kids (pricey!) and The Company Store had a nice selection. We ended up with PBK.

Ikea. They have some that are available online if you don't have a store near you.

I second this! I bought one there for DD, and it was less than $20! They have a wide variety of patterns to choose from.

Target has a decent selection. Some solid colors but a fun selection of throw pillows to brighten it up

IKEA is a great choice. I bought dd one from pottery barn a couple years ago. It fell apart and had to be replaced at less than two years old!

Lands end has duvet covers. Somwtimes you can find them in the sale/clearance section of the website for really good prices. When they have a coupon code, you can usually use it on the clearanced stuff too.

I second Land's End, with clearance and a code I got my son an awesome twin size nautical duvet cover for $33 shipped (now just waiting on Black Friday deals to get a down comforter to go in it).

Target and Bed Bath & Beyond are two other retailers that have choices for Twin.

Ikea has probably the cheapest if you aren't going to make a habit of shopping TJ Maxx et. al. and hoping to luck into something that you will be happy with. Or if you don't have a sewing machine and can't sew a straight line. Most of my "early poverty" duvet covers involved two sheets off the clearance rack and sewing a straight line (but that was before IKEA came to the U.S.)

(Early poverty: The decorating style of a college student or adult holding their first job that involves a lot of found objects, hand me downs, and things bought for really cheap. Often replaced by the decorating style known as "kid proof" - which involves patterns that won't show the red juice stains, and baskets for all the crap. Finally replaced by the style known as "empty nest" which is all the nice stuff you would have bought in your twenties, thirties and forties, but didn't because of money and/or kids, all slightly dated (because your taste didn't change - you always wanted teal and who cares that teal is out of fashion!) and completed about the time your spouse brings up downsizing.)

Another vote for IKEA duvet covers. They have some very cute ones, and they are both good quality and affordable. I have three that I switch out all the time.
