Duty Payable

I haven't been to the US in 15 years and am not familiar with the duty rules. I do know to keep receipts and categorize & total amounts in CAD on the return trip. But I need some clarification on how much an individual is allowed. Is there a family limit? We will be in Florida for 14 days. 2 adults & four children ages 4 - 13. Any help is appreciated.
