Dustin is absolutely correct. The greatest story ever told is A Christmas Carol. Also, not to make his head explode but he is correct on both fronts. The greatest story ever told is only better when told by the Muppets.

I agree that the muppets version of Christmas Carol is the best, maybe a close second would be Blackadder's Christmas Carol.

Muppet Christmas Carol is our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Christmas movie of all time and a MUST on Christmas Eve.
My husband has a collection of MANY versions of A Christmas Carol- old B&W version, Mr Magoo, Mickey Mouse, musicals, you name it. Even Marlo Thomas' revision. And Henry Winkler's too.

The kids are on their own now, but we still look forward to getting cozy and watching the Muppet version of the best story ever!

Dickens is wonderful. Muppets are wonderful. And I just found a version read by Tom Baker. My Favorite old school Doctor Who.

But in my family, if you ask my Dad, A Christmas Story beats them all. Go ahead say it you're dying to. (You'll shoot your eye out) And yes I love it too.

I agree Scrooge the musical is the best!!! We have it in DVD and watch it every year while putting up our Xmas tree.
