Duplicating posts....

I have noticed that quite a few posts have come thru two or three times, in duplicate. I know this happened to me once, as the board seemed to just hang there, as if my post did not go through. I hit submit again. After that, I realized that it IS going through, so now I never hit SUBMIT again!

So, if this is what seems to be causing this? Just hope everyone will be aware of this, and if it looks like your post is not going through, just wait a moment, go back and check the board. Mine have always been there!

That happened to me today, even though I only hit submit ONCE. It hung for a LONG time so I just left it alone. A few minutes later I looked over and saw that it had posted twice. So I just went in and deleted the second post. You CAN do that. If you see that your post has appeared more than once, click on EDIT beneath it and you will be given the option to delete the post. Just do that for whatever "extras" appeared. FYI: You can only edit or delete your own posts, of course, not someone else's.

RIGHT, do NOT hit submit more than once! I know the posts HANG for a long time (due to server loads) but all you need to do once you post and see that your post is going through is to just CLICK ON THE FORUM NAME at the top of the response box page and go back to the boards! Your post WILL show up eventually and you can continue browsing the boards that way. Submitting it more than once just creates duplicate posts.
