Dunns Falls Jamaica question

My husband is interested in doing the falls but with my knees l think it would be better if l take the stairs. For anyone who has separated their parties at the falls one in the water the other on the stairs, how did it work for watching the ones in the water and taking pictures as well as meeting up at the top? Did many people take the stairs?

last visit wife didn't want to get wet so stayed on the path to watch ... easy .... while the path is not always 'right next to' the water, there are several observation areas and it is easy to move from one to the other and follow the ones climbing .... there are also a few places with stairs so the non-climber gat get in the water (a pool) and take or join the pictures

Thankyou for your response and pictures. It will be nice tò get pictures in the pool together. With my knees l'm so afraid of falling and taking someone with me. Is there fish in the water?
