Hi all. Does everyone who line up for the Dumbo immediately get that pager and then proceed to the queue area or do you have to wait a portion of the line to even get to that point when they will give you the pager? If I have FP, does it skip the play area completely? If I have no intention to ride Dumbo, can I still go into that indoor play area? Seems like a great area for me to rest my feet while little one runs around. :)

Thanks!

1. If it's busy, you may be in a fairly short line to get to the point where you get the pager and the kids go in the play area.

2. I believe it does.

3. You can ask a CM out front. I have and been let on in. Ask the CM with the pagers how to exit when done with the play area. I have been pointed to an exit door on the side before.

The day we went there was no line getting into the play area. We did not get a pager and they just said to come over when we were ready to ride. It was getting busier when we finally pried the DGD off the play area so we could ride and it seemed some people were backed up in the original line to get in. It was really a great time to have a cool place to rest and DGD loved it.

We were there the week of Thanksgiving and did have a short wait before entering the waiting/play area. It was so crowded that I could not keep my grandson in sight. At one time, I even got a cast member to help track him down. I am fairly sure that a child could not leave without you knowing, but I told my family that I would never do that again! As to the FP, we did go later and did not go to the waiting/play area with a FP.

There is a portion of the line that is outside, depending on how busy it is you may have to wait. FP does bypass the play area, which disappointed my kids immensely. You can wait in line, get to the play area, play for a while and then turn the pager in if you don't want to ride. We did that once.

awesome - thanks for the info!

By the way, where is the Dumbo FP stations located? Is it right where the Circus is or somewhere else in the New Fantasyland?

They are in a tent across from Dumbo, on the other side of the water play area.

The dumbo fp stations are to the right of Pete's Sideshow character meet tent although we got our Dumbo fp's as bonus fp's from the Winne the Pooh fp distrbution machine.

We first skipped the play area when we used the fp but went back to only see the play area later. You get a pager and then turn it in when you are done playing.
