In case your trying to figure out what I'm talking about :

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071020/ap_on_en_ot/books_harry_potter

Personally i think that's awesome, I don't mean to offend anyone in any sort of way at all.

1.Did you know about it?
2. Is is shocking?
3. What do you think about it?
4.Do you think that she should have told us that in her book? Or like how she did at a book signing

My Answers:

1. Well i mean it was kinda suspicious that you never heard about who he loved or anything like that
2. Sorta
3. I think its amazing :)
4. I would have prefered a little message in some of the books where you could just catch on.

:goodvibes Happy posting!:goodvibes

1.Did you know about it?Nope.
2. Is is shocking?Eh, kinda.
3. What do you think about it? Go Dumbledore! :D
4.Do you think that she should have told us that in her book? Or like how she did at a book signing No, I think this would've been more a suprise if she would've told us like this. :]

Honestly, I think that is pretty cool. I've learned to accept every shock JK throws out there. Suprised I am, but i'm ok with it. (:
But I'm still kinda sad that my McGongall and Dumbledore thing would've never worked out. lol.

1.Did you know about it?Nope.
2. Is is shocking?very
3. What do you think about it? idk
4.Do you think that she should have told us that in her book? suprising this way, and anway that wouldhave been unecessary for the book.

1.Did you know about it?
I totally saw it coming after the last book.
2. Is is shocking?
no.
3. What do you think about it?
I don't care. Its sad that he never got to be happy.
4.Do you think that she should have told us that in her book? Or like how she did at a book signing.
Its her book. Its her character. She didn't have to tell us at all.

1.Did you know about it? Nope.
2. Is is shocking? Yes?
3. What do you think about it? Well, I didn't read the book so I would have never known. But I guess it's cool?
4.Do you think that she should have told us that in her book? Or like how she did at a book signing Nahhh. It's her book, her character. If that's how she thought of him, so be it :)

I didn't know about it.
It's not shocking. More like a little surprise that makes me go o.O
I think it's great.
She can do what she wants with her characters. But I like that we're actually getting informed.

1.Did you know about it? Oh Yes , I caught Dumbledore & Grindlewald behind Hogwarts kissing a long time ago.:lmao: Just Joking. Actually No, but I think it is a cool twist.
2. Is is shocking? Not really, being Gay is not much of a shocker to me.
3. What do you think about it? I think it is a good twist to the story, Great Job by Miss Rowling
4.Do you think that she should have told us that in her book? Or like how she did at a book signing. I don't think it needed to be spelled out in the book. If she would have spelled it out and outted Dumbledore could you have imagined the up roar from some people. It just might have destroyed the whole book series for one silly comment.

I was kinda bummed.
I always figured McGonagall and Dumbledore had a little "sumthin' sumthin'" on the side, if you catch my drift.

But yeah, looking back, he was pretty into the whole Grindlewald deal...
Whatever. He's still my favorite character, bar none.

1.Did you know about it? I had no idea.
2. Is is shocking? Very.
3. What do you think about it? Good for Dumbledore.
4.Do you think that she should have told us that in her book? Or like how she did at a book signing? Nah. It wasn't really necessary to know.

1.Did you know about it? Nope.
2. Is is shocking?Took me by surprise, and very shocking.
3. What do you think about it?I think that it's a bit weird, considering that I had always thought that Dumbledore and McGonnagal liked each other more than they let on.
4.Do you think that she should have told us that in her book? Or like how she did at a book signing? I dunno.

I suspected it.

Was I surprised by it? Yes.

I think it's a statement.

And it wouldn't fit in the books at all.

I saw it on MSN today

That's awesome. I've give major kudos to rowling knowing how that chould affect her books and the outlook on them.

:lmao:

1.Did you know about it? No.
2. Is is shocking? Not really.
3. What do you think about it? It seems kind of obvious now.
4.Do you think that she should have told us that in her book? Or like how she did at a book signing? If she wrote it, the book might've created an uproar.

Totally not surprising after the last book, but I've had my suspicions since book one with Nicholas Flamel and such. And I dunno. There's just always been this feeling I've gotten about him that just made me stop and think about it.

Also:

"Oh, my god," Rowling concluded with a laugh, "the fan fiction."

Made my life.

I'm so glad this board hasn't caused an uproar!

I think its really awesome indeed. It just proves the fact that you don't have to dress up like a girl and have an earring to be gay you can just be yourself.
