I see people replying and quoting only a portion of the OP's post... How do you do that?

I see the "multi-quote" option at the bottom, but I can't get it to work...

(I am slightly technically-challenged!)

Thanks!

Amy

No, I mean like when they Quote just one sentence out of another post.. Like somehow they didn't quote the whole thing... And I've even seen where some people break up the quote to answer individual questions...

It seems like that would be the "multi quote" option, but I don't know how to work it!

Not sure how others do it, but I hit "Quote" then "copy" the whole thing that pops up. Then I trim out the things I don't want ion my reply (Make sure it begins with "[ then the word Quote" and ends with /QUOTE in a square bracket.

I'm not sure, I've never used it, but when I need to go to the "next" section the needs a reply, I hit "Paste" and the entire quote will appear again. I trim out the things I do not need again.
