Dumb question about waterfalls

Hello! Does anyone who has been there recently know if this waterfall is still found on the hotel property? I'm a sucker for waterfalls and I'd love to know if there's a chance of seeing this at Aulani.

Also, I read that there are waterfalls at the entrance of the hotel. Still true?

Thank you!!!
Hmmm I can’t say that I saw this and we were there last on July 5th. The waterfalls or water fountain is still at the front of the hotel and at the Ko Olina entrance gate. Had folks taking pictures at both spots upon our arrival.

Yes, still there. But it’s not quite as spectacular as it looks, and it’s down by the street as you turn in.
In Honolulu, there’s a nice and pretty easy hike up to Monoa Falls.

But please be careful!

Is there something going on along the way to Monoa Falls? Dangerous surrounding? Slippery/muddy? Got a 5 year old way planning on going to it

Typically it is muddy but as long as you’re smart. There are injuries but it’s because of careless mistakes or inattentive actions while swimming which results in drownings or serious injuries. Just be careful and it should be a fun activity!

The waterfall in the picture you linked is actually the two tiered infinity hot tub for adults. It has two levels with water falling over into the lower one as shown in the picture. If you notice there is a bench sitting area along the wall under the fall that you can sit on as the water cascades on your neck. The views of both levels looks out over the beach and ocean and is one of my favorite areas of the resort.

They’ve actually updated the trail with additional gravel so it’s less muddy, but now lots of comments that the new gravel is very slippery.

No it wasn’t bad at all. Just wear appropriate shoes (hiking or tennis shoes not flip flops). We went right after a major rain , still misting and just need to take your time. It’s a pretty hike but people rush rush rush to check it off their “list”.

Good to hear. There were quite a few negative comments on some of the hiking forums. Will have to check it out when we go in a couple of weeks. No excuse not to since it’s a five min walk from my sister’s house.
