I just got some of these but, which side is which??

I mean which side does my address go on and which does the PO Box?

Not to sound dumb but I've never really sent postcards before!!

That is not a stupid question at all. In fact, I had my doubts when I did it for the first time.

The side with the stamp is where you are to put your address and who it is to. I filled it out just as if it was a stamped envelope. The other side is where I wrote my name, address, phone number, and birthdate.

I hope I helped.

I actually made mine from cardstock. I cut them to size, filled out both sides and mailed them in. Nothing special. Granddaughter got a notice to pick up an item at the postoffice today! I'll be going to get it tomorrow! ;)

Thanks everyone!

I really didn't want to do it "wrong" I 'm temped to write a To and From on each side as well!

Yes, that is what I did. A big TO: on one side, and FROM: on the other.

One of the hints given in an earlier thread was to write the Disney Address on the front horizontally, and then write your return address/entry info. on the reverse side vertically...because the scanners the P.O. uses cannot read in this direction so there is less chance of the postcard being returned to sender.

What exactly do you do with postcards i mean is a contest or something?

Since you have a "Year of a Million Dreams" as part of your signature, I'm guessing that you're joking... :rotfl2:

If you're not joking, then, yes, it's like a contest. You can enter to win prizes in the Year of a Million dreams through the mail (special Mickey ears, pins, lanyards, etc.)

Well what do you do buy postcards and send them to disney world?

There are some threads w/official rules, but basically it is this:

Send a 3.5 x 5 inch postcard to : Disney Dream Giveaway, PO Box 8629, Elmhurst, IL 60126 (if you are located in the US). Include your name, address, phone number, and birthdate. All entries must be postmarked by Dec. 31, 2007.

You can find the more specific rules, regulations, prizes, etc. on a thread (I think a sticky thread?) at the top of the Year of a Million Dreams board. Hope this helps! :wizard:

ok sent out my first batch last night. Let the winning begin!! (please?) Maybe just a few things?
