Dumb question about filing income tax refund online

I feel so stupid asking this... In order to file online and have our refund direct deposited into our account, do we have to prepare our return ourselves or can our accountant do it? My mom was meeting with her accountant (who does ours too) and our tax return is so simple, my life fits into a manilla envelope , she just took everything and he did it already so I was wondering is it to late or what happens?

you can log onto turbo tax online and do it there....I have for the last few years...think it is about 20/ea to efile and then you get your refund in about 10 days
