dumb ? - DIS user agreement

I was surfing another Disney discussion board (shh don't tell) and post a link to my trip report and stated that I had a survey as well. I had a PM from the board this morning stating that linking to a report is not allowed and that I couldn't mention my survey on their forums.

Since I don't want to be in trouble here as well, am I doing something wrong by have the same links in my signature here on DIS? I tried to find the board guidelines, but I can't seem to locate them.

I am in no way an authority, but I can tell you that I see people with links to stuff in their siggys all the time.

I do include a link back to both the DIS and the DISBoards from my Trip Report page located on geocities.com. The survey is a separate page on geocities and doesn't "duplicate" information already found here.

your link is fine, basically what we look for are "commercial" sites that are trying to use us for free advertising. Your site is obviously a personal site and you do have the link that we ask for.
