Dumb dining plan question

We are checking into BCV on Sunday, March 22nd. I understand that if we want the dining plan, we must add it at least 48 hours in advance. My question is: in advance of what? The official check-in time? Our actual arrival/check-in time? Midnight?

I called member services, and the CM told me we could add the DP at any time on Friday March 20th. He was a bit of a jerk so I didn't question him, but, for some reason, I'm not too confident in his answer. Anyone know?

Thanks a bunch,
TJ

I am going to send this over to our Dining Plan Board where you will find the best answers to this question. Thank you.

At a guess: Nobody will know what your actual arrival time is until you get there. So to be safe, if I were doing this I'd add it before the 20th.

Ideally, we'd like to do this. But my wishy-washy cousin & family who are supposed to be staying with us may not go. I don't want to get stuck with their share.

And you are staying on DVC points right? Just wanted to make sure. If so it has to be done outside of 48 hours/2 days so Id do it the 19th

Thanks guys. Hopefully, they'll have decided to join us by the 19th. Otherwise, all my hard work getting ADR's will have been wasted.:headache:
