Just want to remind you guys if you have card pts programs(mine is membership rewards from AmEX),use them!
I'd decided after a rocky flight from Philly to New Orleans to drive to Orlando from home(1 hour from N.O.). Then I remembered my 2 passengers-my DD,13 and her best friend/cousin,also 13. Hmmm 9.5 hours with 2 teenagers who are very likely going to get pissy with each other. I'll take my chances at 30,000 ft.
Because I'm a woman,I can change my mind with no flack-
I began the search for discount airfares-
This morning,I decided to check AMEX for any discounts with membership rewards. I used their travel search and realized that I had enough points for 3 round trip tickets!!
Oh and if you're thinking why didn't I post this on the budget board- those guys would have thought of this about 3 seconds after they decided to fly. Not that we're not swift on the CB, we're just so busy solving the world's problems that we might not always pay attention to the monetary stuff.
