Duffy Bear?

Wasn't sure where to ask but this seemed like the best spot.

We were at WDW a month ago and my 7yo fell in love with Duffy. She bought the mini sized (little bitty, he was $8) version because she wasn't willing to part with $30 of her souvenir money for one bear (made me proud!).


But she still talks about it now that we are home and I'd just love to surprise her on Christmas with the full size bear.

Just wondering if he ever goes on sale. If he does I will hold out longer waiting to order. $30 is a lot for a bear and if I can get a sale price, I can be patient.

On Black Friday weekend, the Disney Store online usually has a percentage off deal- maybe 20% or so? Recently the Disney Store website has changed, so I am not sure how the deal will go this year. On one Black Friday, I wanted to make a big purchase on using gift cards. A couple of the park items that I wanted "disappeared" from the website. I called to make the order and they still had the items and I had no problem ordering. I recommend jotting down the item number just in case.

If you have Kroger fuel points in your area, then you can wait to purchase a Disney Gift card when they are 4x the points.

The outfits are a better deal at the park. When we were there in December, they were buy one get two free. The outfits fit the Build A Bear pretty well. When we were at Disney in July, we "broke down" and bought the actually Duffy. Another family in our group went off-site shopping at the outlets. They said that Duffy was on sale at the Disney Outlet and came with a couple outfits- super inexpensive. We wished that we would have waited! I am not sure exactly which outlet this was- the one closest to Disney? Maybe call the outlet and ask if they have Duffy in stock? Any friends or family in Florida that might be willing to do a favor?

I live in Nashville, TN and there is a Disney Outlet, but no Duffy.

I just bought one from the Disney website this week on sale for $15.99 normally $30. It is the 2012 bear. I attached the link, my daughter loves it!

Keep an eye on DS.com, they often have Parks merchandise on sale and Duffy outfits 3 for $30 which is a really good deal.

I did the same thing. DD wanted one in the park, but didn't want to pay $30 for it so I ordered this one and she will get it at X-mas.

If you buy the one that is on sale in the link above, the outfits won't fit him. The Duffy Bear outfits fit the 17" bear.

In the not to long past they have had deals where if you buy a 17inch bear you got a free outfit, and over the summer they had a deal where you could get 3 outfits for $30.

Its been awhile since i was at the parks. When I was there, they had a deal on Duffy outfits. So keep an eye out for that if you are interested in Duffys outfits. And know that Build A Bear costumes fit the 17" Duffy bears really well and are cute.

I recently got 3 Duffy's (retail $30) each for $20! Disney outlet had deal where they had them for $9.99 but if you bought 2 you got one free. Now they were dressed in a happy birthday outfit or what looks like a space hoodie but of course you can change outfits!
