Dues

My dues are deducted on the first of every month. This month, they weren't deducted. Is it because the dues haven't been officially billed for 2011 yet?

The January dues deduction typically happens around mid-January.

If you have monthly dues setup for the 1st of the month, the January payment will always be taken out on the 15th of the month.

Yes, it will be a different amount than normal because they adjust the taxes and other fees on this payment. Then Feb 1, they go to the new rate for the rest of the year.

To see the new amounts that will be deducted, take a look at your dues statement that DVC mailed out. We only got ours yesterday, so yours might still be coming. At the bottom, it lists the January 15 payment, the February - November payment, and then the December payment amount. Our December amount is 6 cents different than the other months. If you want/need to plan, this at least lets you know what is coming out and when.

That would mean that DVC would have to have an account and someone would have to pay the fees.

Yes they do,the 15th of every month they deduct from our checking account debit card.Like clockwork.
