Has anybody ever had this issue?

I paid my dues in full, I got my confirmation email with the #RA confirmation #. DVC website was showing 'pending transaction'. I log in to check something else and curiosity got the better of me so I popped to the dues page-- I noticed the 'pending transaction' was missing and the buttons to pay dues were active again.

I checked my visa and I see it there as a pending transaction so I called visa to confirm there were no issues and they confirmed it was all OK and approved and she gave me the same RA# conf number that DVC sent me.

Confused I called and the CM in Member Accounting wasn't overly helpful and didn't think it was a big deal that the button to pay was active once again so I asked to speak with a manager as $2000 isn't something I want going missing.

The manager was as confused as I was and was somewhat concerned that the button to pay was active again but since I had paid via the web ((OK my mistake knowing Disney IT lol)) she can't see pending transactions until overnight. OK I get it..... it is what it is but that's so odd. You'd think they could see SOMETHING in Member Accounting, especially a manager.

She has my account on her radar and we're both going to check in the morning. If I don't see it pending / paid I need to call back and ask for her specifically as she has the history and with the RA# track down where the heck my $$ went and she'll get IT to 1) fix my acct and she'll issue a credit as dues paid.

Sorry for being so long winded. I am frustrated LOL ((and yeah I know I am a last minute payer! lol))

Anybody have this happen to them?

If you just paid online today, I wouldn't worry about anything at least until tomorrow.

I just find it odd that it isn't even 'pending' anymore; it was pending originally.

It's Disney IT. It's almost more surprising if it does make sense. ;)

I also wouldn't worry. They are pretty good at getting payments.

Don't worry about it, you have the names of who you talked to, check back in a couple of days.

I'm trying to not worry, it's just one of those I want this resolved as it's a pretty big ticket $$ thing if you know what I mean.

If your payment gets lost the worst that can happen is that Disney thinks that you were late paying and you just tell them that it's their screw up and you give them the names of who you talked to.

If your charge account shows the charge just forward that info to Disney.

Life is too short to get all worked up on this one.

Doesn't surprise me.

For about a year when I would make a charge on my Chase debit card at a restaurant where there was a tip involved, I would see the original charge (food only), then it would be gone, entirely completely gone, for about 2 days. Then it would pop back up with the full charge. In those 2 days they couldn't see it, had no idea where it went. It wasn't pending, it wasn't anywhere.

So the idea that this happens with Disney doesn't surprise me at all LOL.

It looks normal this morning and zero balance is owing.... *phew*
