RIV increases by category.

Admin/Front Desk, Maintenance, Transportation are the standout increases to me. Modest increase to capital reserves. Property taxes have a small decrease, but makes sense given how much they overpaid in 2025. Utilities decrease similar to CCV.

I am just annoyed... cause inflation rate was going down for a while... lowest 2.3% and now we are at 3% inflation rate and it looks like most of these are way above the inflation rate... shouldn't they be around the inflation rate? These big jumps made more since to me when inflation was higher.... are they factoring inflation going up even more because of various economic trends like tariffs, etc...

I think I know the answer to this, but would a dues increase like this up the amounts brokers might be willing to pay you to rent your points? I think the answer is no because I suspect that is driven much more by rack rates, although presumably increases in dues also generally correlate with increases in rack rates. Just a question that has crossed my mind thinking about all this.

BWV did us well 😍

Well as I am adding up my dues. I thought BWV was better for me % wise. But CCV was the winner for me when you look at just overall cents more per point. Loving my CCV more and more. And to think CCV was my very first newbie contract. Too bad it's only 100 points.

My resorts
CCV .53
BWV .61
AUL.63
VGC .72
VDH .72

The aloha spirit is getting mad that you have forgotten one... :)

Seriously though what’s VGF secret to staying so low?

Higher point chart I think.

Take a DVC studio for example. The combined cost of housekeeping, front desk, towels, linens, supplies, pool, transportation, etc are probably very similar across resorts, and make up a large portion of the dues. Say this stuff costs roughly $80 a night. If a resort averages 14pts a night for a studio, $5.71 of the dues will need to cover it. A resort with 18pts/nt average will only need $4.44 of the dues to cover it.

Plenty of other things affect dues too, but this helps offset many of them. Like the more points that share maintaining a roof, the lower dues/pt needed to cover it. Budget components vary across resorts, like one landscaping bill might be much higher or lower than average. Overall though, having higher than average points needed per night helps to dilute shared costs.
