dues bill, when?

Last June we purchased 100 pts at Kidani with a June 09 use year. It is now June of 2009 and I have not received a dues bill, nor is one showing up in my online account. When can I expect to receive a bill? Will it come in the mail? And also, are they ever going to mail out new points charts, I have yet to receive any piece of official DVC literature either by email or snail mail to say that the charts have changed at all.

Contact Member Administration and make sure that you are entered into the DVC system correctly. If you want sales mailings, contact your Guide.

My understanding is that for new resorts, the dues don't begin until the unit purchased is ready for occupancy.

Review your paperwork (Member Admin and possibly your guide aren't available on weekends). It's possible that you purchased a portion of the resort that isn't going to be ready until September, 2009. The paperwork should also cover the dues and their timing.

With pro-rated dues, they seem to bill about 15 days after the time at which your dues begin and expect payment the start of the next month. In other words, with a June '09 UY, I expect you will get your dues bill around mid-June with payment due July 1st if you pay in full rather than monthly. If you pay via monthly deductions from your bank account, then the first payment will be withdrawn in July. You will owe approximately 7 months worth of dues but will pay in 6 installments (in Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov and Dec).

ok, I will give it a couple of weeks. I do get sales stuff in the mail as well as by email, but not anything that is actually useful! Weird that they don't want their money the minute they can get it!

I was surprised by that too when I purchased Jambo. I didn't pay any dues until the month following the start of my pro-rated period. I have an Oct UY so I owed about 3 months worth of dues (92 days to be precise) that year. I expected my first payment to be withdrawn from the bank on Oct 1st but I didn't even receive a billing statement until mid to late October. They ended up withdrawing it in two payments on Nov 1st and Dec 1st.

I have June UY at AKLK and we got a bill in the mail two weeks ago. It said not to pay the paper bill but you could pay at the members site. It was fast and easy.
