dueling dragons: Fire or Ice?

which is a better thrill on dueling dragons, fire or ice?
i will ride them both, but what gives a better experience?

My 13 year old swears by Ice. I can't tell the difference. Love them both!

Well, the very front seat of Ice is great because of the encounter with the wall. The back seat of Fire is great because of the air time. I find myself going to the Dragons first thing in the AM when it is empty. I just ride Ice and then Fire over and over. It seems that whichever one I am on at the time is the best!!

I prefer Ice. Fire is more shaky and violent, while Ice is smoother.

I would say the front seat of ICe and not FIRE. when i got off of FIRE i head a really bad head-ache

I like Ice in the front row and Fire in the back row...But overall I would say that I like Ice better because it is a little bit smoother.

I also prefer Ice in the front row. Like others say Ice is smoother but has more inversions & Fire is faster. When we sat on the front row of Fire I could feel the skin on my face pulling back and my eyes started watering .

I like both, but prefer Ice.
My DD likes Ice better.
And my DS likes Fire better (because its Red)

My vote goes to Fire just because of the airtime you get at one point where Fire goes over Ice's track. (I'm not explaining this well at all!) It's a very cool feeling.

do them both in front and back to get the full effect. Ice in front I like better for the near-misses, while fire in back for the zero-G roll figment22 described. when you're in the front row racing across the lake and you see the other coaster closing on you...wow.

If you are going to ride Ice, try for the front row. You can see almost as good on the second row so if the line is long for the front, the second row will be almost as good.
My favorite is definately Fire, I just love that first drop!

Both are great rides. Ice is smoother as has been said before. Some of the transitions on Fire didn't seem to have the polish I would have expected. It is rougher than Ice. I haven't ridden in the back of either coaster so can't comment on that.

That's my mom. Says her. Fire has that AWESOME stomache dropping sensation when you go over Ice while it's doing a zero-G roll. I love both coasters, but Fire>Ice.

I prefer front row on both but if i had to choose it would be ICE with the near miss of the castle wall

Oh FIRE is by far my favorite!!! I like the little extra special treat they throw in for it!
