does it have a ride photo?

and since there is only two of us going on this trip and its a four seater log flume will the ride attendants put us in it by ourselves because im worried about being moved about in there if there isnt four people in it :confused3

Some people take bags but it will get soaked. At any point during the ride you will get wet. If you are going to take photos it's not allowed. Now if you want to try to take photos better make sure it's waterproof. I take our small waterproof Kodak video/picture camera on all rides.

Yes there is a ride photo at the final drop.

If the ride is busy you will be seated with other people normally. You will not be able to move about in the ride log. This is due to very tight seats. Everyone is seated straddling there own seat. There is test seats outside the ride and I suggest you try them before getting in line. They are very tight and different than most rides.

This is one of my favorite rides. I can ride over and over, of course with my board shorts, t shirt, and sandals. ;)

Just wanted to mention the flume holds 4-6 people. Usually as mentioned above, you are seated with others if they are busy. You don't move around so it really doesn't matter.

Also, I have heard "put your camera away" over the loudspeaker on this ride.

You do get soaked even when you aren't going down any hills. :thumbsup2

im going to try and be sneaky and film it for my vacation dvd and just to prove i went on it haha i no people manage to do it because theres video's of it on you tube i think ill make sure all my stuff is in something waterproof then thanks for the advice :cool1:

I have a question on this and some of the other water rides at Universal and IoA....
Do they tame them a bit in the winter or when it is cold so people dont get quite as wet?
We are going in mid-January. I'd love for it to be warm enough to not care if I get wet, but I'm not counting on it.
I'll have a cheap poncho at a minimum but assume there is no avoiding getting wet. My family loves these rides and I just can't picture not riding it.
thanks!

Maybe someone can confirm this BUT we have been going for years and it does seem the water effects are lessened during the winter. :thumbsup2 My husband does wear a poncho when he doesn't wanna get wet - not sure that works so well when its coming in under the poncho. :rotfl:

We ride it on our winter trips as long as its sunny and above 60, lol. We stay on site so we have our suits on and bring towels to wrap up in right after. My DW does not ride in the winter so she holds the towels for DS and I.

rip saw is one of the rides that you can get soaked after the ride ;)

the splash down is not the worst part - watch out for the water cannons on the turn. We try to duck down into our log, because those jets on a cool day will get you drenched.

just a tip.

Not that I've noticed! But I've only been on it in the winter. And we got soaked. If there's a "more soaked than soaked" setting, I suppose they might change it, but not that I noticed.

Ponchos might help keep your chest dry, but not much else.

you also can get wet when you go out from under the bridge.

i dropped a lot of quarters on #9 soaking riders after they took their poncho off their head.
:wave2:

to help keep your gear dry, I bring a big cheapo garabage bag in my bag. Then before I get on ripsaw I put everything in the backpack and then into the garbage bag and tie it up. Good way to keep sneakers, phones and dry clothes dry.

It's an awesome ride!!!! :thumbsup2
