Duct tape on your feet?!?!?

I read in the unofficial guide about wrapping duct tape around your feet to prevent blisters.. OMG has anyone ever tried this?!?

Sounds like an urban legend to me.

I've heard of the duct tape for warts....

What is mole skins? Is it the same concept as body glide? Does it stop your feet from smelling? Just wondering.....

I would never use duct tape, however.... my boyfriend and I discovered moleskin last trip and it worked AMAZINGLY! Definitely getting some beforehand for our next trip.

I am going to test out the body glide before I go to WDW...I run everyday, so I will use it on my ankle/heel area to see if it helps prevent some blisters...I have some new running shoes to break in! Did someone say you can get it at Dick's SG? Like, what section whould you find it in?? Dick's is too big of a place to just start searching randomly, common sense tells me to look in the shoe department????

When I bought it at Dick's SG, it was hanging on the endcap right at the registers. In fact, I asked a salesman (I was in the shoe department) and he took me directly to the register and pointed it out to me!

So how does the Bodyglide work? I've not heard of that one before. I generally have two problem spots even though I wear the same shoes I wear all the time at home. Is it like deoderant? And you just put in on where ever you need it or all over? Won't your socks slip and slide around? Guess I'm having trouble picturing this. I was actually considering the duct tape on just my problem spots.

Blisters come from your footwear moving around. Lots of people get blisters from Crocs because of this. Doesn't matter how broken in the shoe is, if it moves you may get a blister.

The duct tape works, I back pack too. Walking for 6 hours straight with a pack on your back, blisters are nearly unavoidable, but duct tape stops them.
