Dublin / Orlando, Air Lingus

Following on from the Manarch thread, anybody have any oppinions on this route? The Glasgow / Orlando prices are crazy for early October and it is down to a choice between Lingus and BA at the moment.

Its a great route I love flying them staff are lovely great thing now that they fly from terminal 2 so you now get too do immigration and customs in dublin. Any other questions just ask

Flew with them last year GLA/DUB/MCO and they were great flights on time and staf great.

Did not get to pre clear customs but it that was minor thing.

This year its EDI/DUB/MCO, check it out it was cheaper than the GLA route by a fair bit. Think the prices have gone up to simillar but worth having a look.

I only found it out by accident that they do the EDI route. It ends up on the same flight to MCO from DUB that you would get if you fly from GLA.

Thanks for the replys Folks, I have flown BA, Continental and Virgin before and the all left me a bit cold. Think we will give Air Fungus a try this time!

HaHa my DH calls them that all the time. FYI I also never found the flights with them to be any cheaper through comparison websites only direct with them.

Just a quick question, but is this a direct route, or indirect? No one has mentioned stopovers/changes, but the only information I can pull from their website is indirect with changes

In February sometime It was due to open when the new terminal opened but they had staffing issues or something like that

Okay, thanks for that info! Unfortunately, my workplace is very regimented about what days you have as holiday, and that you must take a whole week at a time i.e not 3 days this week, 4 days the following week. It has to be Sunday to Saturday, so we are very restricted about what days we can fly out. The direct routes do not fit in with our days

I know I wish they did more days myself they do indirect the other days but Id say that will be a hassle from the uk as it would mean 2 stopovers.

Thanks for the advice Folks, booked our flights this morning. With the return flight being 19:00 out of MCO it gives us a full day to play once we are booted of the ship at Canaveral, so I guess it is the Space Center for the day.

Thats great did you book the EDI or the GLA route? and when are you heading off.

Glasgow 8th October,

Coming back 22 nd Oct, Saratoga Springs for 1 week and 1 week on the Western Caribean Cruise. \Never thought I would enjoy that but we did the 3 day last ime and had a great time!

Sounds like a you will have a great time. DH wants to do 2weeks and then a week cruise in 2013 for his 40th. So thinking this year might be our last trip until then.
